Vegetarian Special Egggless Baking
Eating Vegetarian Food is really very good for health. A food without dessert is incomplete. Flour or starch components serves as a protein and gives the dessert structure. Fats contribute moisture and can enable the development of flaky layers in pastries and pie crusts. The dairy products in baked goods keep the desserts moist. Many desserts also contain eggs, in order to form custard or to aid in the rising and thickening of a cake-like substance. Egg yolks specifically contribute to the richness of desserts. Egg whites can act as a leavening agent or provide structure. Further innovation in the healthy eating movement has led to more information being available about vegan and gluten-free substitutes for the standard ingredients, as well as replacements for refined sugar. Desserts can contain many spices and extracts to add a variety of flavors. Salt and acids are added to desserts to balance sweet flavors and create a contrast in flavors.Some desserts are made with coffee,a coffee-flavoured version of a dessert can be made, for example an iced coffee soufflé or coffee biscuits.
Below is the full recipe of Eggless Pina Orange Dome Cake.
2 Cup Orange Juice to Soak Cake
2 Cup Finely chopped fresh ripe Pineapple
2 Oranges for decorate, separate segments & cut each into half lengthwise
4 Tbsp Flour
Fresh Pineapple Topping:
8 Cups Chopped fresh ripe Pineapple blend to a puree
10 Tbsp Sugar
200 Gm Grated Cottage- Cheese
1/4 Cup Cream
4 Cups Plain Yogurt hang for 80 minutes in a muslin cloth
8 Tbsp Powdered Sugar
Ready with Vanilla Cake then to take out orange rind keep a 2″-4″ peel of the Orange on a surface, scrape the white pith below the skin with a knife. Cut rind into thread thin pieces. Add orange rind to the cake batter then beat well & grease a 10″ dome shaped borosil glass bowl. Dust with 4 Tbsp Flour then put the batter in the bowl. Bake in preheated oven at 150°C till done. Wait till cool down. Loosen the sides carefully with a table knife. Invert the cake to get the dome top. If the cake does not sit flat cut a thin layer from the bottom. Cut the cake in to horizontal 2 pieces then we pour Orange Juice on both pieces on the cut side to moisten it very gently. Keep bigger piece on a serving platter with cut side up. Cook chopped Pineapples with 4 Tbsp Sugar for 4-6 minutes on low heat. Now we cook Pineapple Puree with Sugar till it boils. Simmer on low heat for 8-10 minutes. Remove from heat. Let it cool. Blend Cottage-Cheese & Cream in a mixture with half the pineapple puree till very smooth then remove from blender. Add the remaining pineapple puree & hung Yogurt. Beat to mix very well. Add Powdered Sugar. Spread 4 Tbsp topping on one piece of the cake placed on the serving platter. Spread chopped pineapple & some topping on the other piece of cake. Invert it on the first piece. Press & pour the left over topping on the cake gradually letting it pour down & covering the whole of the cake. Spread neatly with a knife. Arrange orange segments. Dessert is just waiting for you. So eat it & enjoy it.
